Ex-Azam FC coach becomes new KMC tactician

KMC have appointed Abdi Moallin as Head Coach with immediate effect.

The ex-Azam trainer succeeds Jamhuri Kihwelo who has gone separate ways with the club.

Moallin’s appointment has been confirmed via the club’s Instagram page on Wednesday.

However, the Kinondoni side narrowly escaped premier league relegation last season after playing two playoff fixtures versus Mbeya City.

In the first leg at Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya, hosts Mbeya City won 2-1.

But, things went astray for Mbeya City after suffering a 2-0 defeat in the second leg duel at Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

The outcome enabled KMC to stay put in the top flight league while Mbeya City were officially relegated.
