DAR ES SLAAM: KEY stakeholders across various sectors have been encouraged to embrace digital systems to modernise business operations, enabling more efficient and timely service delivery.
Managing Director of TopArchive, Mr Paul Muhato made the call on Tuesday in Dar es Salaam during the launch of the Itiner Enterprise Document Management System (EDMS), a tool designed to streamline business operations and enhance market accessibility nationwide.
The Itiner Platform, developed through a partnership between TopArchive and Hungarian firm Itiner, aims to revolutionise document management for businesses.
Mr Muhato highlighted that the newly launched platform provides comprehensive solutions for business management, e-commerce integration, data handling and customer engagement.
He emphasised the critical need for businesses to adopt digital tools in order to remain competitive in today’s market.
“This platform is a gamechanger, offering secure, efficient and automated solutions for document storage and management,” he said.

He added: “It marks a significant step in modernising business practices in Tanzania, opening new avenues for growth and innovation while facilitating businesses’ smooth transition into the digital economy.”
Managing Partner of Itiner, Mr Bela Toth spoke about the platform’s potential to drive digital inclusion and foster overall economic growth.
“With this digital tool, businesses can easily connect with customers and expand their operations beyond traditional methods,” he explained.
Mr Toth also reassured attendees about the platform’s robust cybersecurity measures.
Unlike paper-based records, which are susceptible to theft or loss, the digital system ensures greater security with features such as audit trails and real-time alerts for unauthorised access.
“Our message is clear: Businesses must embrace the digital future or risk being left behind. This is a call to action for both Africa and the global market,” he said.
