The Irish Embassy in Tanzania in collaboration with Success Hand Initiative have jointly launched a cleanness programme aiming at fostering environment awareness campaign in primary schools.
Speaking at the launching ceremony held in Dar es Salaam on Friday, the programme’s Director, Asmini Gombo said the campaign will be concluded on the World Cleanliness Day, September 17, 2020.
“The campaign’s goal is to cultivate a reading culture of environment related books and how to be financially self-reliant…,” said Gombo.
The Success Hand Initiative Director General, Mary Nsia has thanked the Irish Embassy for supporting the campaigns, promising to cooperate with stakeholders in implementing the goals of the organization.
On his part, the environmental conservation ambassador, Benard Paul congratulated the organization for initiating the campaign.
Mwasiti Almasi, who is another environment conservation ambassador, called upon other organizations to continue empowering pupils on environmental related issues.
