Eight Tanzanians head for Central African Motocross Championship in Uganda

UGANDA: EIGHT Tanzanian motorcyclists are heading to Uganda ahead of the First Round of the Central Africa Motocross Championship to be held in Uganda on May 1st this year.

The report from the Federation of Motorsports Clubs of Uganda said the one-day event will be staged in Mityana District on Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20 this year.

Participants from East and Central African countries wll be involved in the action-packed two-day racing showdown.

The Tanzanian crew named for the Ugandan mission are Ally Hamoud, who rides KTM 250 bike, Masoud Seif Khamis in a Honda CRF 450, Liam Frank Miller in a Husqvarna FC 450, and Juma Khalif Kejo, whose bike is a Yamaha 250F.

Others in the list include Gustav Bernard Minja, Simon Vitalis Mangombo who rides Suzuki 450R, Kelvin Gabriel Akyoo in Suzuki 450R and Kelvin Bashiri Mtangi who rides Honda CRF 250.

FMU, through its Secretary General, Reynoldfs Kibira Kadok has requested authorities to assist the motorists and their racing bikes to have a smooth entry in Uganda.
