BUSINESS tycoon and current Africa Business Council (ABC) Board Director- Dr Tinashe Manzungu is among speakers lined up for this year’s Leaders without Borders Annual Business Summit/International Honours in England this year.
Manzungu, will be joining business experts from around the world with the agenda of creating a global network, investment opportunities and promote economic development for their respective countries.
The international business summit will run from the May 17 to 19 under the theme ‘Business Beyond Borders-Global Partnerships and Sustainable Investments.’
In an interview, Manzungu said his participation in the Leaders without Borders Annual Business Summit/International Honours will give him a platform to pursue trade partnership for his country and extend his regional partnerships into the European market.
“The LWB Annual Business summit is a platform created to encourage a strong strategic economic and geopolitical partnership by promoting trade and investment. It attracts high-achieving level professionals from all across the world. These are individuals who have contributed to the global growth and development of mankind either via servitude or humanitarian activities. Speaking on such a platform is a great honour and an opportunity to represent my country,” said Dr Manzungu.
“I will pursue trade partnerships and cross border alliances to benefit my country on the global economy. With a background in infrastructure development it is in tandem with the Government vision and it is an area that I have a passion in because without infrastructure it hinders development, which causes economic deficit. Therefore there is a correlation between economic development and infrastructure development,” said the former Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) president.
Dr Manzungu is the Co- Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Zimbuild Property Investments and Group Chairman of TM Group.
He currently commands a business empire that has interests in mainly construction, financial services, and insurance.
He has vast experience and a hands-on approach to business which has led him to sit on various National, Regional and Continental boards that include The Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) as the President, COMESA Business Council, Africa Business Council, among others.
An apt summary of his passion is contributing to the African future by creating sustainable Infrastructure Projects, job opportunities and empowering fellow Africans to the global economy.
His establishments as an entrepreneur have been built on the mind-set of providing solutions to the challenges that Zimbabweans and Africans at large face.
In his businesses, he has done Mega Infrastructure Development Projects that include housing construction, dams, road, water, and sewer engineering interalia.
Dr. Manzungu has won numerous awards for his business expertise and philanthropy.
He has advocated for the highest levels of equitable and sustainable development of Africa.
He is the founder of the TM Group, a diversified firm with interests in construction, health, Financial services and Insurance.
Under the TM Group banner he runs Zimbuild Property Investments, Clientsure Group among other ventures.
