Dr Samia pledges to end water woes in Tabora

TABORA: THE Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) presidential candidate, Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan, has promised to end water woes to residents of Uyui District in Tabora Region if elected as President.

Dr Samia pledged during her ongoing campaign in the region, where she said that her government will address water shortage challenges and ensure reliable and safe access to water in the region.

She noted that under her leadership, the government will construct a large one-million-liter water tank that will serve residents in Ilolanguru Ward and the neighbouring wards.

Additionally, she pledged that her government will sort out all challenges facing tobacco farmers in Tabora regarding their unpaid claims.

“I am aware of the challenges facing tobacco farmers in Tabora regarding your unpaid claims. I promise you that my government will take swift measures to ensure the payments are made promptly so that you can continue with your economic activities and development,” she said.

Dr Samia is in the Tabora Region for campaign rallies to promote CCM’s policies, and later she will hold meetings in Urambo and Kaliua districts as part of the campaign trail.
