Dr Migiro leaves for China for a six-day tour of the Chinese Communist Party

DAR ES SALAAM:  CCM Secretary-General, Dr Asha-Rose Migiro, is set to leave the country for Beijing, China, on a six-day official visit following an invitation from the Communist Party of China.

The visit aims to strengthen long-standing historical ties and close cooperation between CCM and the Communist Party of China, which have maintained strong relations over the years.

The Secretary General will be accompanied by a delegation of five officials during the trip.

While in China, she and her delegation are expected to hold talks with senior leaders of the Communist Party of China as part of efforts to further cement bilateral party-to-party relations.

The visit to China comes at a time when 2026 has been officially designated as a year for promoting social and cultural exchanges between China and Africa, providing an opportunity to deepen friendship, share experiences, and enhance mutual understanding between the two parties.
