Dodoma opens new horizons for tourism

DODOMA: Dodoma Regional Commissioner, Rose Senyamule, has announced the launch of a strategic tourism development book for the Dodoma region — a strategy expected to open new horizons for tourism within Dodoma and across Tanzania as a whole.

A statement recently released by the Office of the Dodoma Regional Commissioner said that the office, in collaboration with the Tanzania Tourism Sector Safety and Protection (TTSSP), is introducing a new vision, abundant opportunities, and innovative strategies aimed at accelerating tourism growth in Dodoma as a strategic city of Tanzania.

“This historic event will take place on August 4, 2025, starting at 9:00 a.m. at the Mabeyo Complex hall,” part of the statement read.

The event’s Guest of Honour is expected to be the Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Mahmoud Thabit Kombo.

The theme of the strategy is: “Reboost the Royal Tour – Dodoma.”
