Simba SC have suffered a 1-0 defeat from AS Arta Solar of Djibouti in an international friendly match held at Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
A late goal pumped in the 89th minute was enough to give the visitors a sweet victory after losing 3-0 in their past friendly duel versus Azam.
It is a second successive loss by Simba after recording another 1-0 setback from Al Hilal in a signal testing encounter played in Sudan recently.
Before the kick off, a minute of silence was observed to pay tribute to Simba SC doctor Yasin Gembe who passed away recently while undergoing treatment at Muhimbili Hospital inc the city.
Up next, Simba are set to face KMC in an NBC Premier League fixture pegged at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in the city on Wednesday.
