Tanzania and Oman have agreed to have an employment contract that will enable former’s youths to be employed in the Asian country.
The agreement was reached during a meeting of delegates from both sides held at the Julius Nyerere International Conference Center in Dar es Salaam.
Elaborating, Deputy Permanent Secretary in the ministry for Foreign Affair and East African Cooperation, Amb Fatma Rajab said that the agreement which will enable Tanzanians to be employed in Oman.
“The employment will be conducted in a special and official manner and this will help us to curb the unemployment problem in the country and increase our historical relations.
Equally, the PS noted that the two sides also discussed the possibility of waiving visas for people with diplomatic passports while directing the respective institutions from both sides to work on the matter.
