Dar Children envision an epic multi-sports, music gala

DAR ES SALAAM: A unique day of multi-sports, music, and dancing is underway to brighten Kijitonyama in Dar es Salaam, involving children aged between 4 and 12, the organisers of the upcoming Kids Faith and Fun Program confirmed today.
The event, which is reserved for the school children, is scheduled on September 6th in Dar es Salaam.
“There are plenty of fun activities that we have lined up to keep the kids happy during the program, not forgetting games, music, and dancing, which are commonly loved by them.
“They will also have ample time to engage in arts and crafts as well as optional painting sessions,” says Kids, Faith and Fun Tanzania Program’s founder, Ms Redempter Muze at a press briefing on Sunday in the city.
She adds, “Knowing the importance of aligning their proper upbringing with the fear of God, Bible study sessions will also be included on the schedule.
“We live in a technology-powered world where things are changing rapidly and children are exposed to many negative things which can ruin their lives at a tender age.
“Here is where close attention from parents and guardians is required…they must direct their children to know and have fear of God so that they should not be overwhelmed by the world,” she says.
She continues: “Without a firm foundation, kids can easily face confusion about truth, values, and identity. Teaching them while they are young helps to build a strong self-identity in God, recognize truth from lies, and grow in confidence through faith, ensuring they are rooted in God at all times.”
“Unfortunately, nowadays, most parents are too busy such that they hardly spare time to be with their children, and this is among the reasons I have prepared this event, which will be conducted monthly.
According to her, the engaging event will unfold under the theme ‘Obedience,’ saying it is a word that helps to build a good character in kids.
“Through obedience comes respect, integrity, love, and many other important values that ought to be adhered to all the time by people,” she remarks.
