DAR ES SALAAM: The Dar es Salaam regional authority has lauded Yas Tanzania for its consistent investment in telecom infrastructure, highlighting its significant contribution to improving access to digital services for the local community.
The Region’s Chief Administrative Officer, Ms Flora Mgonja made the remarks in Dar es Salaam yesterday following the launch of the telecom’s new store at the Dar es Salaam Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) Station.
“The continued investment in telecom infrastructure will enable Yas Tanzania to deliver services that meet global standards,” she emphasised.
She added, “As the Dar es Salaam regional government, we are fully committed to supporting you in ensuring the efficiency of your operations.”
Chief Officer of Mixx by Yas, Ms Angelica Pesha, emphasised that the Yas facility is a key component of the company’s broader strategy to provide Tanzanians with more convenient access to digital services.
“The launch of this store is a major milestone for Yas and Mixx, as we aim to ensure seamless access to communication and financial services for our customers.
With this initiative, Yas Tanzania continues to cement its position as a trusted partner in the telecommunications and digital financial services sector, driving social and economic progress in Tanzania.
The new store at the Dar es Salaam Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) Station is set to enhance convenience for customers, allowing them to access telecom services with ease while supporting the growth of digital connectivity in the region.
