DAR ES SALAAM: THE Tanzania Cricket Association (TCA) Selection Committee has released the names of 20 players shortlisted for the national training camp for the upcoming tours of Malaysia, Zimbabwe, and All-Africa Games.
The camp is already underway in Dar es Salaam, with sessions being held at the Leaders and Muhimbili Cricket Academy grounds.
The team are under the tutelage of former Kenyan player, Jimmy Kamande. Among members of the team are an all-time skipper, Abhik Patwa and bowling all-rounder Kassim Nassoro. Others are Medium Pacers, Salum Jumbe and Zamoyoni Jabeneke.
Other familiar but experienced players in the squad are Spinner Sanjay Thakor, Akil Anil, Ally Kimote, Dhrumit Mehta and Ivan Selemani.
The list also has Abdullah Jabir, Johnson Nyambo, Jitin Sinch, Lakshi Baklania, Mohamed Simba, Mohamed Yunus and Mohamed Kitunda.
Zafar Khan, Yalinde Mourice and Ramesh Alluri and Amal Rajeevan are also in the squad. The team believes in hard work and discipline to produce desired results.
