Country’s Music megastars light up SensaBika Concert

OVER 50 artistes will be on stage today to light up SensaBika Concert scheduled at Leaders Club grounds in Dar es Salaam starting this morning.
Tanzania is ready to conduct her 6th population and housing census on Tuesday which will also be a public holiday in order to let many people embrace the exercise.
However, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry for Culture, Arts and Sports Hassan Abbasi has described the concert as the biggest, and called many Tanzanians to attend and be part of the historic day.
“It is among the biggest events to be staged in the world when it comes to encouraging people to take part in census and make sure that they are counted.
“The concert will bring under one roof artistes and key players in culture and sports who together will be disseminating information about the importance of embracing census,” said Abbasi who founded the SensaBika word.
He also thanked all those who have been part of the SensaBika campaign saying it is now time to finish it with a big event at Leaders Club.
Some of the artistes set to light the stage are Marioo, Barnaba, Chege, Young Dee, Mrisho Mpoto, Saraphina, Kassim Mganga, Khadija Kopa, TID, Hamadai, Man Fongo, Candle, Ruby, Dula Makabila, Mzee Yusuph, Maarifa and many others.
Also, there will be performances from Msondo Ngoma, Twanga Pepeta, Zanzibar Nyuki Jazz Band, Muhogo Mchungu, Tunaweza Music Band and a lot more.
