Coca-Cola Kwanza recognised as top employer for 2026

DAR ES SALAAM – Coca-Cola Kwanza Ltd, a leading company in the Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) group, has been recognised as a Top Employer for 2026 by the prestigious Top Employers Institute.
The achievement places Tanzania among six other countries in the CCBA footprint that have joined this elite group. In addition, CCBA has been certified as a Top Employer for Africa at the regional level, marking the second consecutive year for regional recognition.
Operations in Tanzania, Ethiopia, South Africa, and Uganda have also been certified at the country level, showing improved performance compared to last year. Notably, 2026 marks the first certification for CCBA’s operations in Botswana, Kenya, and Mozambique.
The Top Employers Institute, active in 125 countries and regions, is globally recognised as the authority in human resources certification, benchmarking, and advisory. Certification is based on the HR Best Practices Survey, which assesses organisations across six key areas: People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Wellbeing.
Speaking on the achievement, David Chait, General Manager for Coca-Cola Kwanza, said the recognition reflects the company’s commitment to professional growth and development for its employees.
“This certification demonstrates our dedication to providing an exciting journey of learning and development within a passionate and caring team,” Mr Chait said.
He added that CCBA invests in its people to foster an inclusive and thriving workplace, ensuring employees can grow their careers while contributing to market success and community impact.
“At CCBA, we don’t hand you a role; we create an opportunity, provide the tools, and challenge you to build a career — to make it your own,” he said.
