China based Zibo Vocational Institute (ZVI) has started offering Intelligent Manufacturing training in automotive technology to 39 Tanzanian students.
ZVI, located in Shandong, is offering the training in collaboration with Tanzania’s National Institute of Transport (NIT).
This is according to Tanzania’s Ambassador to China, Mr Mbelwa Kairuki.
On Saturday, the envoy toured the institute where he met and held talks with the head of Zibo, Liu Wei.
Mr Wei pledged that more Tanzanians will be granted training opportunities at the institute.
Zibo Vocational Institute is a provincial college offering associate degrees in a wide variety of disciplines.
The college has a partnership with the Toyota companies in Japan and Volkswagen of Germany with the aim of providing Intelligent Manufacturing training in automotive technology.
