AS the countdown clock to the Chief Executives Officers(CEOs) 2022 Luxury Retreat Golf tournament ticks, more exciting awards have been offered for the event’s best performers.
Scheduled to tee off on September 3rd this year, the tournament, is being organised by the Sea Cliff Resort and Spa Golf Club of Zanzibar and will be staged at the World Best 9 holes Golf Course in Mangapwani, Zanzibar.
It is an 18-hole tournament that brings together CEOs, diplomats and other golfers from 13 different African countries and beyond, according to the club’s manager, Elias Soka.
Soka told the ‘Daily News’ from Zanzibar on thursday that all is set for the tournament to tee off as planned.
“The CEO 2022 is even more interesting, everyone can be a winner this time around,” stressed Soka.
He added that apart from hefty prizes to those who win the tournament, they have added a raffle draw that has wonderful prizes too.
“I would like to inform participants that we have added a raffle draw on which one will foot home a seven-day stay at Sea Cliff Resort and Spa with an all-inclusive meal plan (includes all beverages) for two pax.
“The prize will be worth USD 3,000 US Dollars that also includes free pick up from Airport/ferry port, Ocean view room, free wi-fi and in house sports activities,” he said.
Soka noted that to enter into the draw should therefore buy a ticket for 10,000/- or ten tickets for 80000/- only.
However, he said all is well as now they wait for the golfers to enter the battle for the top honours as 72 golfers have already been confirmed.
Soka said golfers from Kenya, Uganda, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Dubai, United Kingdom, Scotland, France, Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe are heading to Zanzibar for the 18-hole tournament.
Fumba Town Development is the event’s main sponsor, while Phoenix Insurance joins as a diamond sponsor.
Other tournament co-sponsors are Exim Bank Tanzania, Castle Lite, Dodoma Wine, Fly Dubai, United Petroleum, Com-Net, Rahisi Solution, Toyota Tanzania Ltd, Smile Communication Tanzania, Automark, Melia Zanzibar, White Sands, Zanzi Resort, Park Hyatt Zanzibar and Dubai-based Nathan & Nathan co Ltd which join for the first time.
Furthermore, Soka has also appealed for Tanzanians to continue voting for the Sea Cliff Resort & Spa golf which has been nominated for the 9 Holes Course World Golf Awards 2022 via World Golf Awards website.
