CECAFA UNDER-15: Isles defeat Mainland 2-0

UGANDA, Kampala: Tanzania has suffered a 2-0 defeat from Zanzibar in the ongoing CECAFA Under-15 Boys Championship.

The game at FUFA Technical Center in Njeru, Uganda on Saturday is the first upset for Tanzania’s side

For Zanzibar (Karume Boys), Abam Shaban and Luqman Othman have made the difference.

It was the third straight win for the Isle’s envoys in the competition after hammering Rwanda 3-0 and Somalia 4-0.

They (Karume Boys) have not conceded a goal in all their three engagements and have pumped in 9 goals.

However, both teams already qualified for the competition’s semifinals after winning their two opening games to grab six points.
