CCM brags to continue lifting country to success
RUVUMA: THE ruling party CCM has boasted to have unquestionable experience in leadership to guide the country towards more success, calling for extended support from Tanzanians in the coming elections.
Likewise, the party says the opposition has equally enough experience to remain as strong opponents in the political field, saying that if Tanzanians allow them to perform an alternative job; they are likely to make them fail.
CCM Secretary General, Ambassador Dr Emmanuel Nchimbi, told a well-attended public rally held at CCM grounds located in Mbinga Township, Ruvuma Region during his last event of a 10-day Marathon tour of six regions.
Prior to coming to the Ruvuma Region, the ruling party’s Secretary General visited Katavi, Rukwa, Songwe, Mbeya and Njombe regions respectively.
Dr Nchimbi who was flanked by CCM’s Ideology, Publicity and Training Secretary, Amos Makalla and the Secretary for Organisation, Issa Gavu inspected development projects, implementation of the party’s manifesto, solving grievances bedeviling Tanzanians as well as setting a strong base for well-being of the party.
“Every time when you get an opportunity to vote, remember that the opposition is good to continue remaining on the opposition side and CCM is equally good to continue staying on leadership of this nation,” he noted, adding that everyone should be given an opportunity depending on what experience one has.
“For example, a tailor that has been working for 15 years cannot be compared to another who has got no experience, equally, an engineer who has been practicing for 40 years cannot be compared with a less experienced one…so every person ought to have skills on the area that he has been working on for many years,” he boasted.

According to him, CCM has been in leadership since 1977, therefore, the party has enough experience in leadership and development, while the opposition parties have been in existence since 1992 and they have shown a great ability of working in the opposition.
“Therefore, I request you to continue to respect them so that they continue being our main challengers,” added Dr Nchimbi, amid cheers from Mbinga residents who attended the rally.
He said that the opposition is only strong if they remain in the opposition because it is the only job that they are performing very well without any doubt, telling Tanzanians that should the opposition be allowed to do an alternative work they will surely fail.
Meanwhile, at a Mbinga political rally, the CCM Secretary General was forced to make a direct telephone call to the Minister of Agriculture, Hussein Bashe so that he could respond to complaints raised by the area residents over lack of maize markets for farmers as well as loans for coffee producers.
Dr Nchimbi made the bold decision after one of the farmers said that they have no access to soft loans thus lacking empowerment in coffee production leading to low productivity.
During their conversation with the party’s Secretary General, the agriculture minister said that the government through the National Food Reserve Agency (NFRA) was already implementing a directive to clear all debts owed by farmers.
“I wish to assure all Mbinga farmers that the government will soon purchase all coffee products,” noted Mr Bashe.
