“It delves into the differences between Chinese standards (GB) and British standards (BS) in the design and construction of steel structures,” he said, detailing that the reports were conducted in collaboration with scholars from the Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT).

The study revealed that steel structures designed under Chinese (GB) guidelines exhibit sufficient capacity to withstand applied loads while meeting locally recognized standards. The findings demonstrate that the structures meet functional requirements in both serviceability and limit states, performing well under Tanzanian conditions.
