CAFCL/CAFCC SEMIS: President Samia pledges 10m/- per goal scored by Simba, Yanga
President Samia Suluhu Hassan has pledged to buy each CAF Interclub Games semifinal goal for 10m/-.
This is a good news to envoys Simba and Young Africans if they manage to progress to the last four of champions league and confederation cup.
In his remarks on Friday afternoon, Chief Government Spokesperson says President Samia is wishing the two clubs all the best in their second leg quarter-final matches.
He also insist that only those goals to be scored in normal play or extra time will be eligible for the 10m/- prize and not the ones netted in post-match penalties.
The presidential motivation package has been provided in the group stage and quarter-final clashes whereby each goal earns 5m/-.
