CAFCC DRAW: Young Africans to face TP Mazembe, Real Bamako and Monastir

Young Africans will face TP Mazembe (DR Congo), US Monastir (Tunisia) and Real Bamako (Mali) in group D of CAF Confederation Cup.

This is according to a draw conducted in Egypt on Monday afternoon where all teams which made it to confederation cup group stage are now aware of their opponents.

The fixtures are scheduled to begin unfolding from February 12th, next year of which games are played on home and away basis with three points hanging by thread.

TP Mazembe are a familiar side to Tanzania soil having played against Simba, Yanga and Azam on several occasions.

But, the other two teams are new to Tanzania football hence Yanga will be compelled to engage the top gear to get the better of them.

To reach this far, Yanga had to clear Club Africain of Tunisia 1-0 in the second leg encounter to march forward with an aggregate of 1-0 after a goalless first leg.

The Jangwani street giants have already indicated that they need to go beyond the confederation cup’s the group stage.
