CAF President Motsepe meets Samia, sports key in discussion

DODOMA: CAF president Patrice Motsepe has paid a courtesy call to President Samia Suluhu Hassan at Chamwino State House in Dodoma, today.

In the course the duo have discussed many things concerning football development in the country.

Also, FIFA president Gianni Infantino and former Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger have landed in the country.

Equally, they are part of the entourage that has arrived to witness the inaugural match of the African Football League (AFL) between Simba versus Al Ahly at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam, today.

Wenger who is also the Technical Director of FIFA is among the high profile figures to be part of the historic moment.

This is a remarkable feat and the first time, the country has brought in such key people in football circles.

Tanzania is truly rising and this is greatly placing the nation at the world stage.
