Bus traveler dies of ‘mysterious’ illnesses
MOROGORO: GODFREY Mbaga, a farmer aged between 25-30 years old died at Mikese in Morogoro while traveling from Mwanza to Dar es Salaam.
Police in Morogoro confirmed the death saying its cause was not known.
Morogoro Police Commander, SACP Alex Mkama, who reported the incident said Mbaga’s death occurred on February 23, 2025, in the morning at the Mikese area in Morogoro in Allys bus while traveling from Mwanza.

He stated when Mbaga began to feel unwell he was rushed to the Morogoro Referral Hospital for treatment. However, his condition did not improve, and he eventually passed away.
His body has been preserved in the hospital’s morgue for identification and investigation.
Mbaga encountered this tragedy while aboard Allys Bus company with registration number T 433 EBG, which was driven by Emanuel Kayanda.
