Bunge Women’s Basketball Team triumph over Kenya

KENYA: THE Bunge Women’s basketball team won against the Kenya Parliament team, winning 45-27 in the 14th edition of the East African Community (EAC) Member States Parliamentary Games.

The tournament is in Mombasa, Kenya, featuring teams from various East African countries competing in multiple sports disciplines. The competition began last weekend and will conclude next Tuesday.

In other matches, the Bunge men’s football team from the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) faced a tough loss against Uganda’s Parliament team, with a score of 3-0 at the KPA Mombasa ground. The men’s basketball team also struggled, suffering a heavy defeat against Uganda’s Parliament team, who won decisively with a score of 66-25.

The Tanzania women’s volleyball team continued their strong performance by sweeping Burundi’s team 3-0, while the Bunge men’s volleyball team lost to the Kenyan Parliament team by a score of 3-1. Additionally, the Tanzania women’s volleyball team triumphed over Uganda’s Parliament team, winning 3-2 in a thrilling match.

In the men’s basketball category, the Kenya team dominated with a convincing 67-38 victory over the Bunge team. In netball, the Bunge team was defeated by Uganda, who won 33-25. However, Tanzania’s women’s netball team had an impressive victory, beating Kenya 58-17.
