ONLY seven slots remain less than a month remaining before the CEO’s (Chief Executive Officers) Luxury Retreat Golf tournament lights up a splendid course in the Zanzibar shoreline.
Organised by the expensive Sea Cliff Resort and Spa Golf Club of Zanzibar, the World’s Best 9 Holes Golf Course located in Mangapwani near the Indian Ocean, the annual golf tournament is scheduled to tee off on September 9th this year attracting multinational golfers.
The stable ford tournament, among others, aims to boost Zanzibar tourism and is open for individual men and ladies with eligible handicaps.
The prestigious 18 holes event brings together CEOs, diplomats and other golfers on the course to battle it out for the top honours as well for networking and development of the game.
As of yesterday, Elias Soka the club’s manager, told the ‘Daily News’ from Zanzibar that preparation is going on smoothly and that over 73 golfers out of the targeted 80, have already registered for the event.
“We are delighted to have that good response from golfers, we have now only seven slots available,” he said.
He called on those wishing to take part to register promptly as the door is still open.
Soka said golfers come from Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Zambia, Italy, German, Dubai, India, South Africa and Tanzania.
He also complimented sponsors; Kenyan Airways, EXIM Bank, Finaltus Investment Kenya, Nathan Digital Dubai, Rahisi Solution Ltd, Castle lite, Dodoma Wine, United Group, Maxinsure Tanzania, and Zanzi Resort for making it possible.
He, however, said the door is still open for those wishing to join hands and sponsor this year’s event.
Meanwhile, Soka said that the raffle draw tickets have already started selling out with exciting packages including winning a full-year unlimited golf membership worth 2,500 US dollars for the lucky winners.
He said that the full-year unlimited golf membership prize and others can be won by raffle ticket which is available for 10,000/- each or an option of buy ten for 80,000/-.
“The package also includes unlimited green fees, unlimited use of golf cart, all members benefit plus 30 per cent discounts HNA access,” he added.
Soka noted that it will also include seven-day stay with an all-inclusive meal plan worth 3,000 US dollars for two pax winning prizes. The package also includes free pick up from Airport or ferry port, an Ocean view room, free Wi-Fi and in-house sports activities for raffle draw.
