BRELA to use social networks to promote business formalisation
BUSINESS Registration and Licensing Agency (BRELA) is focusing on social media platforms to expand the scope of business registration awareness and access to licenses for businessmen and investors.
The Agency’s Public Relations Officer, Ms Roida Andusamile said here at the ongoing Fifth Mining Technology Exhibition that some social networks they cover to widen their progressions include Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
“Therefore, we are working hard to use social networks to ensure that various stakeholders reach us and get information about BRELA and now we even work via WhatsApp groups. We properly use social media to ensure that citizens understand the services we provide as a business and license registration agencies,” she said.
She urged Tanzanians to formalise their businesses, since BRELA is currently working online, so what people need to do is enter the BRELA website.
“When you formalise a business, credibility increases, you can be assured of various opportunities because it can promote a company’s name or brand,” she expounded.
Nyang’hwale District Commissioner, Mr Jamhuri William urged Brela to work closer to artisanal and small-scale miners, many of whom are still working locally.
