Aziz Ki nets hat-trick as Young Africans beat Azam FC

DAR ES SALAAM: Young Africans returned to the Mainland Premier League Summit on Monday evening as Aziz Ki scored a hat-trick against Azam FC at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.

The Jangwani based giants, Young Africans, regained command of the Premier League after outclassing Azam 3-2.

The electric match at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam Monday evening has witnessed Stephanie Aziz Ki netting a hat-trick for the defending champions.

Following the triumph, Yanga have generated 15 points in six games, similar to Simba but the former enjoy good goal average as they have 18 goals against 14 goals by the Reds.

For Azam, on target were Gibrill Sylla and Prince Dube who fired through a spot-kick.

The Chamazi based side have now conceded their first defeat of the campaign and are third on the log with 13 points in the bag.

Up next, Yanga host Singida Big Stars at Azam Complex on October 29th before facing Simba on November 5th.

For Azam, they will host Namungo on October 29th before visiting Mashujaa at Lake Tanganyika Stadium in Kigoma on November 2nd.
