Azam demolish Mashujaa

KIGOMA: After a two straight defeats, Azam have reacted strongly by defeating the new Premier League newcomers, Mashujaa 3-0.

The game at Lake Tanganyika Stadium in Kigoma on Wednesday afternoon has seen the visitors claiming maximum points.

Three second half goals by Kipri Junior, Gabriel Sillah and Alassane Diao were  enough for the visitors from Dar es Salaam to haul 18 points in nine games.

They are now equal on points with leaders Young Africans and second placed Simba.

In another game, Singida Big Stars have been held to a 2-2 draw by Ihefu at Liti Stadium in Singida.
