DODOMA: Driver have been advised to prioritize vehicle maintenance and safety measures to enhance road safety and improve operational efficiency.
The appeal was made by Director of At The Wheel, Amin Lakhani, during the grand opening of the company’s seventh state-of-the-art fitment center in Dodoma, equipped with the latest automotive technology and services.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Lakhani emphasized the strategic significance of Dodoma in the company’s expansion plans, attributing the decision to the government’s ongoing investment in quality infrastructure as a driver of economic growth.
“We are excited to establish our presence in Dodoma, a city at the heart of Tanzania’s transformation. Our goal is to enhance the driving experience by focusing on safety, reliability, and quality services that ensure smoother and safer journeys,” he said.

The company’s technical expert ,Mr. Habib Mohamed, highlighted the need for increased driver awareness of tire care, including maintaining proper air pressure and adhering to recommended tire lifespan.
He noted that such practices play a vital role in preventing accidents and safeguarding the nation’s workforce.
The new facility is expected to provide services such as tire alignment, balancing, and replacement, contributing to the company’s vision of promoting road safety while supporting Tanzania’s growing automotive sector.
