ASFC CUP: Simba maul Eagles

Simba have marched on to the 16th round of Azam Sports Federation Cup (ASFC) after a mountainous 8-0 win against Eagle FC.

The two sides settled their differences at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam on Saturday evening with the Reds standing tall after the match.

Venom striker Moses Phiri sealed a quadruplet while his Zambian counterpart Clatous Chama netted a brace to his name.

Other goal poachers were Habib Kyombo and Pape Sanko with each contributing one goal.

Elsewhere, Ihefu pounded Mtama Boys 9-0 at Southern Highland Estate in Mbarali, Mbeya to also jump into the next phase of the competition.

At Jamhuri Stadium in Dodoma, hosting side Dodoma Jiji claimed a 4-1 win against Ndanda as the former moved to the best 16.

Tomorrow, Young Africans face Kurugenzi FC at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in the city.
