ALAF links employee health to customer engagement

TANGA: ALAF Limited has reaffirmed its commitment to employee health and community wellbeing by participating in the Tanga Marathon, using the event to promote healthy lifestyles while strengthening ties with customers.
Speaking shortly after the race, Rehema Ibrahim from the company’s Human Resources Department said the participation was part of ALAF’s culture of prioritising employee wellbeing while creating opportunities to engage directly with customers.
“Today, we did not just come to run, but also to meet our customers in Tanga. It is our company culture to prioritise the health of our employees while also reaching out to our clients,” she said.
Ms Ibrahim said events such as the marathon provide an opportunity for the company to interact with customers, understand their concerns and respond to questions regarding the quality of ALAF products.
“When we meet in gatherings like this, we get the opportunity to answer their questions regarding the quality of our products,” she said.
She also announced that ALAF had opened a new office in Tanga City at the junction of 4th Street and Taifa Road, aimed at bringing the company’s services closer to customers in the region.
According to Ms Ibrahim, the company also plans to expand its presence to more parts of the country as part of efforts to improve access to its products and services.
She said planned expansion would cover areas including Bukoba, Katoro, Mpanda, Njombe and Songea, among others, during the year.
The expansion, she said, would enable ALAF to strengthen its engagement with customers and make its products and services more accessible to people in different parts of the country.
The Tanga Marathon brought together runners and members of the community, providing a platform for promoting physical fitness, healthy lifestyles and community participation.
