Airtel reinforces commitment to gender-inclusive policies

DAR ES SALAAM: AIRTEL Tanzania has reaffirmed its commitment to gender-inclusive corporate policies focused on employee well-being.

This pledge was highlighted by the company’s Managing Director, Mr Charles Kamoto, during the launch of a nursing room at Airtel’s Dar es Salaam headquarters, celebrating International Women’s Day 2025.

“The initiative sets new standards by providing a safe, comfortable space for mothers to attend to their children while at work,” he noted.

The Company’s Human Resources Director, Ms Stella Kibacha, emphasised that the nursing facility reflects Airtel Tanzania’s dedication to fostering a workplace where women can thrive.

“This dedicated space enables working mothers to balance their professional and personal responsibilities with dignity and ease, boosting both their well-being and productivity,” she said.
