Airtel hands over cash prize of Tzs 50M to grand winner of Upige Mwingi promotion
SHINYANGA: Airtel Tanzania has handed over a cash prize of Tzs 50 million (Fifty Million) to the grand winner of Upige Mwingi promotion during an event held in Shinyanga Municipality at the weekend.
The winner, Renatus Mashauri won the cash prize of the 50 million during the just ended Upige Mwingi promotion which was a three months customer drive promotion that rewarded Airtel customers with Airtime bonuses, Motorcycles, TV, Fridge, and Cash prizes ranging from 1 million everyday culminating to a final draw with a Mega prize of Tzs 50 million which has been won today. Airtel customers across the country had a chance of winning prizes daily by buying Airtel Bundles or performing Airtel Money transactions (Send Money, Cash Out, Bill Pay, or Lipa).
Speaking immediately after receiving the cash prize, Renatus Mashauri who is 28 Years old and a small-scale business man said, ‘Im really happy to emerge the grand winner of the Upige Mwingi Promotion. This is just a dream come true. I congratulate Airtel Tanzania for great services and products which actually changes the lives of Tanzania. For longtime have been using Airtel as my preferred communication network and will continue being loyal to the network’.
Mashauri added, ‘When I received a call from Airtel that I have won the Tzs 50 million I could not believe it. But today here I have my Tzs 50 million. These money will actually my whole life.
