ADN Care offers free health screening
ARUSHA: VISITORS to the ongoing Northern Zone Nane Nane Exhibition in Arusha are receiving free health screening services from ADN Care Health Centre as part of efforts to promote early disease detection.
The services include blood pressure checks, blood sugar testing and laboratory examinations, enabling visitors to know their health status early and seek timely medical attention, according to ADN Care’s Dr Aggrey Mapunda.
Speaking during the exhibition, Dr Mapunda said the health centre had also stationed an ambulance at the exhibition grounds to provide emergency services to patients requiring immediate medical assistance.
“Many people do not have the habit of going for regular health check-ups and they only discover they are sick when the disease has reached an advanced stage. Through these services, we are encouraging people to know their health status early and receive treatment on time,” he said.
Dr Mapunda said the facility accepts various health insurance schemes and also provides affordable healthcare services to patients.
He said ADN Care’s participation in the Nane Nane Exhibition supports government efforts to improve healthcare services by reaching more people through medical camps and health education programmes.
Dr Mapunda urged farmers, livestock keepers and other visitors attending the exhibition to take advantage of the free screening services, noting that many non-communicable diseases show no early symptoms but can be effectively managed when detected early.

Meanwhile, ADN Care Health Centre Laboratory Specialist, Mr Festo Laurent Mmasi, said the facility offers a wide range of laboratory tests to help people understand their health conditions and take appropriate medical action.
ADN Care provides a broad range of healthcare services, including surgical procedures, specialist consultations, dental, oral, ear, nose and throat services, women’s health and maternity care, laboratory services, routine health checkups, ultrasound, pharmacy, emergency treatment, ambulance services and other medical care.
The ongoing Northern Zone Nane Nane Exhibition at Njiro Grounds in Arusha has brought together farmers, livestock keepers, institutions and development stakeholders to showcase technologies, products and services that contribute to the growth of the agriculture, livestock and social welfare sectors.
