ACP Bulimba cautions citizens to avoid lavish spending during festive season
KAGERA: BIHARAMULO District Commissioner Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Advera Bulimba has cautioned citizens to avoid lavish spending during this festive season noting that it may lead to the breach of law.
Equally, she advised people who will be celebrating Christmas to ensure that they leave someone in their houses to avoid thieves breaking and stealing their properties.
ACP Bulimba assured citizens in Kagera Region that the police force has tightened surveillance also calling for cooperation among members of the community.
“The Police Force has tightened surveillance in all corners. But cooperation among members of the community is important. People should report suspects to nearest police stations for necessary action,” she said.
ACP Bulimba also warned drivers to adhere to traffic laws and regulations to avoid unnecessary accidents. “Parents, on the other hand, should also use the money carefully bearing in mind that schools will reopen next month while pupils/students need school fees,” she said.
