Abdelhak Benchikha named new Simba SC head coach

DAR ES SALAAM: Simba have named Abdelhak Benchikha as the team’s new head coach.

He takes over from Roberto Oliveira who was recently released.

He has been unveiled through Simba’s official Instagram account on Saturday evening.

The Algerian trainer negotiated USM Alger to clinch the CAF Confederation Cup (CAF CC) last season.

They claimed the title on away goal rule after registering a 2-2 draw over Young Africans.

Aside of training USM Alger, he also tutored CR Belouizdad, MC Alger, Algeria national team, Raja Casablanca among others.

Simba host ASEC Mimosas in the CAF Champions League at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam on Saturday.
