“ABC, the National Basketball League (NBL) champions, are the sole representatives in the BAL qualifiers.

Tanzania are in Group C together with teams City Oilers (Uganda), Matero Magic (Zambia) and Urundani (Burundi).”

City Oilers will lock horns with Matero Magic at the same venue today.

The next day, Urundani will meet City Oilers before ABC faces Matero Magic.

The Tanzania envoys will conclude their campaign with City Oilers after Matero Magic locks horns against Urundani.

“ABC will begin their campaign with Urundani of Burundi. Then, ABC will meet with Matero Magic of Zambia in the second match before concluding their campaign with City Oilers of Uganda.

It is a three-day qualifying game from October 28th to October 30th.”

In the end, Patrick noted the qualifiers involve sixteen teams in four groups. Every group has four teams.

After attaining eight teams from four groups, they will meet in South Africa for playoffs and eventually crown the champion.

“The top two teams in each group will go to South Africa for playoffs in the Basketball Africa league.

We invite all basketball lovers to come and support our team in their qualifier campaign.”
