Prof Muhongo presents CCM manifesto implementation in five years
MARA: MUSOMA Rural Member of Parliament, Professor Sospeter Muhongo on Wednesday started to present implementation of the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi’s (CCM) Election Manifesto 2020-2025 in his constituency.
In a statement which he released on Thursday, Prof Muhongo said the presentations cover key achievements from over 17bn/- spent by the government in implementation of various development projects including electricity supply.
Prof Muhongo said the 17bn/- includes about 4.88bn/- which was allocated for electricity supply through the Rural Energy Agency (REA) in Musoma.
He said on Wednesday (June 18), he made the presentation to CCM’s Musoma Rural District Politics Committee at the party’s district office in Murangi Village.
“The presentation also involved the special CCM District central committee,” Prof Muhongo said, adding that the event had 148 participants.
He said tomorrow (Friday), he will make another presentation involving CCM’s Musoma Rural District’s Central Meeting where a total of 2,684 members and invited guests are expected to attend.
He said apart from the oral presentations, he said has documented the implementation of the manifesto in five books titled Volume II: Fiscal Year 2024/2025, Volume I: Fiscal Year 2023/2024, Volume V: Fiscal Year 2022/2023, Volume IV: 2021/2022 and Volume III: 2020/2021.

Moreover, he said presentations have been printed in fliers touching key sectors including education, health, water, electricity and transport.
Also, Prof Muhongo said all the presentations have been uploaded at the constituency’s website which is www.musomavijijini.or.tz.
