Azania’s digital system to enhance financial inclusion
DAR ES SALAAM: AZANIA Bank has unveiled digital banking system crafted to meet the evolving needs of customers, empowering individuals and businesses with advanced technology to handle their financial transactions effortlessly.
The Azania Digital Platform Project Manager, Mr Vinesh Davda said yesterday that the initiative marks a pivotal step toward modernizing banking services, offering customers greater flexibility and control over their financial transactions anytime, anywhere.

He said that the new platform integrates mobile banking, internet banking, agent banking and WhatsApp banking, ensuring effortless accessibility and convenience for all users, wherever they are, whenever they need it.
Mr Davda underscored the platform’s potential to transform customer experiences and accelerate financial inclusion throughout the country, bringing banking services to a wider audience. “As we launch this state-of-the-art digital banking platform, we aim to raise a standard for banking in Tanzania,” he said.
