Samuel Sitta family launches a book documenting the former Speaker’s contribution to the country

DODOMA: THE family of the late Samuel John Sitta was introduced during a ceremony marking 10 years since the death of the former Speaker of Tanzania’s National Assembly, which also featured the launch of a book documenting his life and contribution to the country.

During the introduction, the late Sitta’s widow, Margaret Simwanza Sitta, was presented as the head of the family, alongside their children and other relatives, before the Vice-President and invited guests.

The family also expressed appreciation to relatives who travelled from abroad to attend the commemoration, including those from the United States, as well as religious leaders and other dignitaries who participated in the event.

In addition, the family thanked religious leaders who attended the ceremony and demonstrated solidarity with them during the commemoration.
