Tanzania invites Algerian investors in agricultural technology, livestock farming, and fertiliser production

ALGERIA: TANZANIA’S Ambassador to Algeria, Mobhare Matinyi, has invited Algerian companies to invest in Tanzania in agricultural technology, livestock farming, food processing, irrigation and fertiliser production.
Speaking to the media in Algeria, Ambassador Matinyi said Tanzania offers numerous investment opportunities in the agricultural sector, noting that the government is prioritising efforts to increase productivity and add value to agricultural produce through modern technology and industrial facilities.
In October 2026, the Tanzanian Embassy in Algeria participated in various agricultural exhibitions held in Blida, Annaba and Constantine. The embassy also visited meat, tomato and pepper processing factories as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation and attract Algerian investors to Tanzania.
The investment promotion drive has also extended to the energy, pharmaceutical, construction and manufacturing sectors. Opportunities include partnerships with Algerian companies in oil and gas, pharmaceutical production and the processing of various products.
The initiative aims to strengthen economic diplomacy, attract investment, promote technology transfer and expand trade between Tanzania and Algeria for the mutual benefit of citizens in both countries.
