Mchengerwa appoints Dr Rashid to chair TMDA’s advisory board
DODOMA: THE Minister for Health Mohamed Mchengerwa has appointed Dr Seif S. Rashid as Chairperson of the Tanzania Medicines and Medical Devices Authority (TMDA) Advisory Board.
According to a statement issued by the Head of Government Communication Unit in Dodoma the minister’s appointments were made under the powers vested in the minister by Section 6(4) of the Government Agencies Act, Chapter 245.
Additionally, the minister also appointed new members of the TMDA Advisory Board.
Other members appointed to the board are Prof Eliangiringa A. Kaale, Dr Hussein L. Mohamed, Ms Patricia M. Maganga, CPA Mozah S. Sechonge and Dr Eliud S. Eliakimu.
The statement further noted that the position of Board Secretary would continue to be held by TMDA Director General Dr Adam M. Fimbo.
