Business efficiency in transportation heralds strategic talks between TNCC and Isuzu East Africa

DODOMA: BUSINESS efficiency and transportation have been placed at the centre of strategic discussions between the Tanzania National Chamber of Commerce (TNCC) and Isuzu East Africa, with the talks focusing on improving the business and investment environment in the country.

The discussions brought together TNCC President Vicent Minja and Isuzu East Africa Board Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer Rita Kavashe, alongside other company officials.

Speaking during the meeting, Minja said cooperation between TNCC and the private sector was crucial in identifying challenges facing businesses, as well as opportunities that could help improve operational efficiency.

He said the partnership would also enable businesses to expand their operations, increase investment and contribute to economic growth.

“It is important for institutions representing businesses to work closely with the private sector to identify challenges and opportunities that can improve the business environment,” Minja said.

For her part, Kavashe said collaboration with institutions representing the private sector was essential in identifying the actual needs of businesses and developing effective transportation solutions.

She said Isuzu East Africa was ready to work with private-sector stakeholders to develop transport services and solutions that meet the needs of businesses in a changing operating environment.

The meeting focused on identifying areas of cooperation that would enhance business efficiency, facilitate transportation and enable businesses and investors to access effective transport solutions for their day-to-day operations.

The partnership is also expected to contribute to improving the transportation and logistics chain for goods and services, reducing operational challenges and enhancing the competitiveness of the private sector in Tanzania.
