Belarusian envoy in Dar to deepen diplomatic ties with Tanzania

DAR ES SALAAM: THE Belarusian Foreign Minister,Maxim Ryzhenkov,has arrived in Dar es Salaam for a three-day working visit from today,April 28 to 30, 2026 at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo.

Ryzhenkov has arrived in Dar es Salaam, where he was received by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Dr Ngwaru Maghembe, as well as the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Tanzania, Dzmitry Krasouski.

During the visit, Ryzhenkov is expected to hold bilateral talks with his host, Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo.

In addition, he will meet with other government leaders with the aim of developing and expanding cooperation between the two countries.

The visit aims to strengthen diplomatic relations between Tanzania and Belarus as well as promote economic cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
