Tanzania and Korea push to deepen development ties in trade, investment

DAR ES SALAAM: TANZANIA and South Korea have renewed their push to deepen economic ties, with a strong focus on boosting trade, investment, and development cooperation.

The momentum follows a discussion between Tanzania’s Ambassador to Korea, Noel Kaganda, and Korean Ambassador Ahn Eunju, who agreed to scale up bilateral engagement across key sectors.

Additionally, the two envoys discussed expanding economic collaboration while promoting exchange of expertise to drive efficiency and accelerate growth in both countries.

They also committed to unlocking new strategic partnership opportunities, signalling a sharper, results-driven phase in Tanzania–Korea relations aimed at delivering tangible benefits to their citizens.
