Dar Fashion Designer sees peace as a key to entrepreneurs’ creativity

DAR ES SALAAM: A fashion designer from AM Fashion, Agusta Masaki, has said that the peace prevailing in Tanzania is a key pillar enabling designers and entrepreneurs to work in a calm and highly creative environment.

Speaking to the  Daily News today, April 15, 2026, Ms Masaki explained that, unlike in some other countries, Tanzania offers a supportive atmosphere where people can think, create, and grow their talents without fear.

“From my perspective as a fashion designer, peace has greatly helped me expand my work. I’ve been able to collaborate with different people, design and sell my products freely, and even reach wider international markets,” she said.

She added that peace allows Tanzanians to dream big and achieve those dreams, especially young people involved in the creative sector and small businesses.

Ms Augusta also called on the public to focus on hard work and increasing income through various innovative approaches.

Ms Masaki concluded by reminding Tanzanians that peace is not something to take for granted, but a valuable resource that must be protected by maintaining unity, mutual respect, and a strong work ethic.

“What we hold in our hands can build a better Tanzania—each of us through what we do,” she stressed.
