TZ invites global investors to boost clean energy sector

DODOMA: THE government has invited strategic investors from around the world to invest in Tanzania’s clean energy sector in a move aimed at stimulating economic growth and supporting efforts to address climate change.

The invitation was extended by the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Dr Ngw’aru Maghembe, during a panel discussion titled ‘Planning Development with Innovation: Building Tomorrow’s Global Growth’ at the Raisina Dialogue 2026 held in New Delhi, India, from Thursday to Saturday.

Dr Maghembe also noted that the government is implementing a national agenda to promote the use of clean cooking energy.
