TANAPA wins accolades for its quality tourism management.
DUBAI: THE Tanzania National Parks Authority (TANAPA) is among the leading centres of excellence in the provision of tourism services in Tanzania.
This was stated today, 9th December 2025, by Mr. Nkoba Eliezer Mabula, the Deputy Permanent Secretary (Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism), while addressing participants of the 2025 Quality Achievements Conference organized by the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR) at Dusit Thani Dubai Hotel, UAE.
“TANAPA is ISO 9001:2015 certified, and this standard not only makes a quality requirement that symbolizes a shared belief that quality is a habit, a culture, a mindset, and a standard of life,” he said.
The Quality Conference is a strategic international platform where quality experts, companies, institutions, and public administrations present their activities and network with business leaders, academics, civil servants, and diplomats from various countries.
On behalf of the United Republic of Tanzania and TANAPA, Mr. Mabula extended appreciation to ESQR for recognizing TANAPA’s dedication to quality management. He noted that the recognition inspires best practices, innovation, and a culture of continuous improvement that enhances customer satisfaction.

TANAPA, under ISO 9001:2015, operates with international standards that promote sustainable tourism, enhance visitor experiences, support surrounding communities, and contribute to national economic growth.
Mr. Mabula also expressed heartfelt appreciation to H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, whose visionary leadership through The Royal Tour has transformed Tanzania’s tourism landscape.
He assured the international community that “Tanzania is safe and ready to receive visitors from across the world, and once you visit, you will experience high-quality tourism services you will never forget.”
The 2025 Quality Conference will conclude this evening with the Quality Achievements Awards Ceremony at the same venue.
