Dr Mwinyi names Mkuya among new members of the House

ZANZIBAR: THE President of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council, Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, has appointed new members to the House of Representatives.

Those appointed are Shariff Ali Shariff, Masoud Ali Mohammed, Dr. Saada Mkuya Salum, Nadir Abdullatif Alwardy, Idrisa Kitwana Mustafa, Tawfik Salim Turky, Said Ali Juma, and Dr. Juma Malik Akil.

According to a statement released last night by the Chief Secretary of the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar, Zena Said, the appointments took effect on November 6, 2025.
